Creamed Beans and Potatoes Recipe:- This soothing side dish is so much nicer than plain beans and potatoes. Healthy, Nutritious and very Tasty. Enjoy!!
Preparation Time:- 5 mins.
Cooking time:- 15 mins.
Ingredients:-
* 4 medium red potatoes, cut into wedges
* 1 (10 ounce) package frozen beans or peas
* 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
* 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
* 1/2 teaspoon salt
* 1/8 teaspoon pepper
* 1 cup milk
Directions:-
1. Place potatoes in a saucepan; cover with water and cook until tender.
2. Cook beans according to package directions.
3. Meanwhile, melt butter in a saucepan; stir in flour, salt and pepper until smooth. Gradually add milk. Bring to a boil; boil for 1 minute.
4. Drain potatoes and beans; place in a serving bowl.
5. Add sauce and stir to coat.
